Welcome to Sirocco Fishing Charters Moeraki

Moeraki offers some of the best sea fishing in the South Island with consistent weather and fishing conditions. Species targeted include: Blue Cod, Perch, Trumpeter, Terakihi and Groper (in season).

The Sirocco is powered by a 700HP Fiat engine. She cruises at 14 knots and has a top speed of 20 knots giving you a fast comfortable cruise to the best fishing spots.With a length of 55ft and a 17ft beam, we have 33ft of deck space for your comfort.
We are fully certified for up to 20 passengers and comply to all MSA requirements.
We can arrange accommodation in Moeraki for you and top class Alvey fishing gear is available for hire if you need it.

The owner/operator Martin Finnie is NZOW qualified and has been chartering out of Moeraki since 1999.
Deck hands Noel and Johnny have many years experience. They will help you take your catch off the hook, and fillet your fish ready for you to take home or cook when you have landed. They will also prepare refreshments for you at sea on the onboard BBQ
